The Jewelers Lathe

This tool is used for straightening bent arbors, re-pivoting and polishing gears and pivots.  This tool can also be used to machine custom wheels.

The Bushing Machine

The bushing machine is used for replacing worn bushings.  The bushing is the brass ring that the pivot rotates within, occasionally these will wear down as a result of friction and require replacing.

The Air Compressor

The compressed air is used to run various pneumatic hand tools, and also is used to blow residual cleaner off the clock parts that is left from the cleaning process.
The Spring Winder

We use the spring winder to safely release the tension stored in a mainspring.   This tool is also used to re-tension mainsprings.  Clocks that contain a barrel assembly which houses the mainspring, this tool allows us to safely remove the spring from the barrel.

The Rotary Tool

The rotary tool has many uses for clock repair.  For example it can be used for grinding, polishing, cutting, or buffing.

The Ultrasonic Cleaner

The Ultrasonic cleaner uses high frequency sound waves to create millions of microscopic bubbles in the ammonia based cleaning solution.  This creates a scrubbing action that cleans visible surfaces as well as crevices that are not visible to the naked eye.  This process of "cavitation" results in a very effective method by which we thoroughly clean your clock's movement.
